I know in my journey of being a hairstylist it was when I really started to resent the clients that had me working Friday nights, Saturdays or even Sunday mornings.

Or even clients that had me waiting until 4:30 in the afternoon on any given day to do their hair. And of course they would be late…

If you are in this position I fully understand on every level.

Boundaries are such a huge part of business.

And I believe that business is personal.

I could go as far to say that boundaries mean everything in a business.

Especially when you are a stylist because people feel like they can walk all over you.

Not today Satan.

You deserve better, you deserve clients that are willing to pay what you’re worth and willing to come in the hours you provide.

If you have been working 5+ years behind the chair and you haven’t raised your prices yet, I highly recommend you do.

And forget the clients that can’t afford you.

There are other stylists out there in the world that will take them on.

That is not your problem and it never will be.

Instead, focus on the guests that are going to walk through your door that will pay their prices, that will respect your hours and that won’t be a pain in the ass.

Because if you know me, pain in the ass clients is the last thing I will deal with at this time in my life.

Goodbye Debbie. Pain the ass.

The boundaries I have said in my business have really skyrocketed my income, my happiness and the time I have left.

Please don’t underestimate boundary setting and what it can do for you.

So much love to you all,
Angelina, xx
